I am Spencer Lloyd Patrick Grimshaw (SLPG), a fine artist and tattoo artist based in Manchester, originally from Preston.

My artistic journey began with my first solo exhibition at Hidden Nightclub in Manchester, featuring 50 original ink drawings. My work primarily explores themes of sexuality, often through an autobiographical lens.

I have started a project focused on life drawings of the queer community in Manchester. The first volume has been released and is available for purchase. This work serves as a heartfelt tribute to the vibrant community that has shaped my experience in Manchester.

Since April 2023, I have been tattooing at Studio Star, a queer-friendly studio in Manchester, and I have had the opportunity to guest at various studios across the UK. My tattoo practice specializes in floral, inky designs. For examples of my work, please visit the ‘tattoo’ page.
